Featured Description (from the owner)
This event is FREE to attend, but please pre-register so we have enough supplies for you.
Try your hand at making and braiding dough for challah, the special bread that is traditionally eaten on Shabbat and Jewish holidays. While we wait for the dough to rise, we'll have kid-friendly stories and songs, and will learn about some of the other customs and rituals of Shabbat.
We'll have familiar and not so familiar ritual items on display, and will talk about creative and traditional ways that you can turn Shabbat into a special day for you and your family.
Come join us! No prior experience necessary.
