The sixth annual Greenwoodstock is upon us!

The entertainment extravaganza at Greenwood Playground, located on East 5th Street and Fort Hamilton Parkway, right above the F/G stop at Fort Hamilton, will feature a day chock full of music, crafts, raffles and more this Sunday, May 3 from 9am to 5pm.

Here’s the lineup scheduled for Sunday:

  • 10-11am: Play Music Band spins their web of hypnotic rhythms inspired by nature and music from around the globe.
  • 11am-12pm: The Erstwhiles play their traditional Southern tuns on a fiddle, banjo and guitar.
  • 4-5pm: Paul Decoster performs his R&B and rock originals and classics.

Throughout the day, you’ll also get a chance to enter to win raffle prizes from local businesses, including Juice Box, Le Paddock, Hair Care by Yolanda, Krupa Grocery, Hamilton’s, Private Picassos, Barking Cat, Play Music, Brooklyn Commune, Handy Matt Zelznick, and Kathy’s Ice Cream.

Plus, there will be tons of crafts made by many of our amazing local artisans. If you’d like to be a vendor but haven’t signed up yet, you have until tomorrow, Thursday, April 30, to do so. It costs $30 for a space and $20 for a table with two chairs. The Friends of Greenwood Playground are accepting stoop sale items, handmade crafts, and flea market wares (but no food).

The Friends group is also still looking for volunteers. To sign up as a vendor, to volunteer, or for more information in general, please email greenwoodplayground@gmail.com.
