Elle Features Ditmas Park's Christine Alcalay In Their October Designer Spotlight

Local womenswear designer Christine Alcalay got a lovely writeup from Elle online last week, complete with several photos of her soft, flowy dresses and separates at an intersection you might just recognize.

Elle traces Christine from her early life in Vietnam, to her observing relatives working in NYC garment factories in her youth, to Parsons, Paris, and Park Slope (where her boutique, Kiwi, has been since the early 2000s), and up to her Spring 2014 collection, designed in her Ditmas Park home.
