Duo Shoots Duo Near Commodore Barry Park, Police Say

Police are searching for suspects in connection with a shooting that struck two individuals a block away from Commodore Barry Park near Fort Greene.

The shooting occurred on Thursday, November 17, around noon in front of 240 Nassau Street (between Gold and Navy street). According to police the two men fired a gun striking an 18-year-old man and a 28-year old women, both in the legs.

The two suspects immediately fled the scene towards 177 Sands Street.

Police say that the victims were taken to the emergency room to be treated for their gunshot wounds and are both in stable condition. The male victim was taken to Methodist Hospital in Park Slope and the female victim was taken to NYU Medical Center in Brooklyn.

Police describe the suspects as two blacks males, one wearing a red hoodie the other wearing a blue hoodie.
