The D’s Still Playing Hooky & More Bensonhurst Subway Changes

Below you’ll find early week Bensonhurst subway service changes for the D, N, R, and F lines in Brooklyn. Check back later this week to see what’s happening this weekend. Changes via MTA.info.

D Line

Coney Island-bound D trains skip 71 St, 79 St, 18 Av and 20 Av
Days, 9:45am-3pm, Wednesdays to Fridays through March 6
For service to these stations, take the D to Bay Pkwy and transfer to a Norwood-bound D. For service from these stations, take the D to 62 St-New Utrecht Av and transfer to a Coney Island-bound D.

F Line

F trains run every 20 minutes between Avenue X and Stillwell Av
Days, 11am-3pm, Wednesdays to Fridays through February 27
F service operates in two sections:
1. Between 179 St and Avenue X
2. Between Avenue X and Stillwell Av
Transfer at Avenue X to continue your trip. More info here.
F trains from Manhattan skip Avenue U
Days, 10:45am-3pm, Wednesdays to Fridays through February 27
For service to this station, take the F to Avenue X where it will become a Jamaica-bound F. For service from this station, take the F to Kings Hwy and transfer to an Avenue X-bound F.
You can also take the B3 bus via Avenue U to the Avenue U “Q” station where Coney Island-bound service is available.

N Line

Coney Island-bound N trains run via Q the from Canal St to DeKalb Av
Late nights, 11:45pm-5am, Tuesday, February 24 to Friday, February 27; Mondays through Fridays from March 2 to March 13
No Coney Island-bound N service at City Hall, Cortlandt, Rector, Whitehall, Court Sts, and Jay St-MetroTech. Use nearby 4 stations instead, then transfer between 4 and N trains at 14 St-Union Sq or Atlantic Av-Barclays Ctr.
For service to Court St and Jay St-MetroTech, take the N to DeKalb Av and transfer to an Astoria-bound N.
For service from Jay St-MetroTech, take the F to 4 Av-9 St and transfer to the N. Transfer is available between the N and downtown 4 at Canal St after 12:01am.  More info here.
