Hamantaschen-making workshop
Where: Temple Beth Emeth, 83 Marlborough Road
When: Saturday, February 28 from 1:30-4pm (but RSVP by Thursday, February 26)
What: Prepare for Purim by learning how to make Haman’s Pockets! You’ll need to RSVP for this delicious event by emailing templebeth83@aol.com or calling 718-282-1596. Also, be sure to BYOP – bring your own (rolling) pin!
Cost: $10 per person/$20 maximum per family

Ezra Guitar Purim party with Chabad of Ditmas Park
Where: Ezra Guitar, 785 Coney Island Avenue
When: Sunday, March 1 at 11am
What: Everyone is invited to come in costume to the annual Purim party from Chabad of Ditmas Park and Ezra Guitar. During the festivities, you can make groggers, decorate masks, make your own Hamentashen, sing and dance, munch on refreshments, and more. Spots are limited, so be sure to RSVP by emailing info@ezraguitar.com or calling 718-434-2103
Cost: $10 per family at the door

Flatbush Jewish Center Purim Party
When: Wednesday, March 4
Where: Flatbush Jewish Center, 327 E. 5th Street
What: The Flatbush Jewish Center will celebrate Purim beginning with a young families celebration at 5:45pm, a Megillah reading at 6:30pm, and a party in the Hanid room at 7:30pm. There will be music, good food, crafts and face painting, and more! To see all of the details, go here.
Cost: $5 per adult, FJC members are free.

Chabad of Windsor Terrace Purim Bash
Where: Chabad of Windsor Terrace, 1266 Prospect Avenue
When: Thursday, March 5
What: A Megillah reading at 5pm and then the Windsor Terrace Purim bash, which will include a drum circle, children’s entertainment, every flavor of Hamentash, a buffet, dancing, and lots more! Please RSVP to info@JewishWindsorTerrace.com

Purim family service & carnival
Where: Temple Beth Emeth, 83 Marlborough Road
When: Saturday, March 7; 11am for family Megillah reading and 12:30-3pm for the carnival
What: A festive Purim service and a carnival that includes a costume parade, food, games, prizes, mask-making, and more!
Cost: $10 per person/$25 per family for the carnival
