Dos Locos, A Mexican Bar & Grill, Opens On Church Avenue
Welcome, Dos Locos!
The new Mexican bar and grill recently opened in the space where El Acuario was located at 1217 Church Avenue, between Argyle and Westminster Roads — and the eatery is looking pretty snazzy, with a renovated interior that includes a new bar space.
We haven’t gotten to check out the food at the new spot, which is owned by the same folks from El Acuario and a couple new owners — but if it’s anything like El Acuario’s, we’ll be happy!
Their menu is an extensive one, ranging from chips and homemade guacamole ($6.50) to mole poblano ($12.95), vegetable fajitas ($11.95), a variety of tamales ($6), and a whole lot more. You can see the entire menu below:
The restaurant doesn’t have a liquor license yet, but one of the owners told us yesterday that they expect to be getting it within a couple weeks.
Additionally, the eatery plans on having a DJ spin music on Friday and Saturday nights every week and will show sports events on their new flat-screen TVs.
Has anyone tried Dos Locos yet? Let us know what you thought!
