Donate Toys to Help Golden Farm Workers’ Families
As the fight for workers’ rights at Golden Farm continues, there’s a way to help employees and their families this holiday season.
Neighbors have organized a gift drive to collect donations of toys and clothing and distribute them to to the families of Golden Farm employees, including the 7-year-old daughter and 4-year-old son of Felix Trinidad, a worker trying to unionize who passed away after a battle with cancer this summer. When considering gifts, keep in mind that children range in age from 1 to 7 years old.
Drop off donations on the front porch of 308 East 4th Street, between Church and Albermarle Avenues, through Sunday, December 23.
