Donate Blood This Thursday

If you can, consider making a blood donation tomorrow, Thursday, April 3 during a drive that’s running from 12:30-8pm at the Ditmas Park Rehab & Care Center, 2107 Ditmas Avenue at East 21st Street.

Blood donors are required to be 18 years or older and a minimum of 115 pounds — please be sure to bring photo identification. See here for more information on donating blood.

In addition to knowing you’re helping replenish a needed blood supply, hot food will be served at the event, and each donor will also receive a free gift.

Co-sponsored by the Flatbush Development Corporation and Assemblywoman Rhoda Jacobs, the drive will benefit Maimonides Medical Center.
