The D/N Gets Skippy, The G Goes Slow & More Subway Service Changes
Below you’ll find pre-holiday subway service changes for the A, C, G, B, Q, D, N, R, 2, 3, 4, and 5 lines in Brooklyn, plus the Franklin Avenue shuttle. Check back later this week to see what’s happening this weekend. Changes via MTA.info.
Norwood-bound D trains and Astoria-bound N trains skip 25 St, Prospect Av, 4 Av-9 St and Union St
Late Nights, 11:45pm-5am, Monday, December 22 to Wednesday, December 24
For service to these stations, take the D or N to Atlantic Av-Barclays Ctr and transfer to a Coney Island-bound D or N. For service from these stations, take the D or N to 36 St and transfer to a Norwood-bound D or Astoria-bound N.
No R shuttle train between 36 St and 59 St
Late Nights, 11:45pm-5am, Monday, December 22 to Wednesday, December 24
R service operates between 95 St and 59 St. Transfer between R and N trains at 59 St.
No 4 trains between Brooklyn Bridge and New Lots Av
Late nights, 11:45pm to 5am, Monday to Wednesday from December 22 to December 31
4 service operates between Woodlawn and Brooklyn Bridge, making local stops. Late night 3 service is extended to New Lots Av.
For service between Manhattan and Brooklyn, take the D or Q. For Lower Manhattan and Downtown Brooklyn, take the 2, 3, or N. For service between Borough Hall and Franklin Av, take the 2 or 3 instead. Take the 3 between Franklin and New Lots Avs. More info here.

3 service operates between 148 St and New Lots Av, replacing the 4 in Brooklyn.
G trains run every 20 minutes
