Saturday, March 29

• Email sameskyumuganda@gmail.com to reserve a spot, then join Same Sky and fellow volunteers for day of service to commemorate the Rwandan Genocide. Prospect Park, 9am-12pm.
• Register to help the Weekend Woodland Corps, starting at Prospect Park’s Picnic House parking lot, 9:45am.
• The Lavender Blues sing along is at Lark, 10 and 11 am.
Ready, Set, Kindergarten is at the Cortelyou Library, 11am.
• You can check out Introduction to Birdwatching, starting at the Audubon Center, 12-1pm.
• Take a historic walking tour of Prospect Park with the Urban Park Rangers, starting at theGrand Army Plaza Arch, 12pm.
Alex Levin and guests play jazz at Purple Yam, 12:30-2:30pm.
• Reserve a spot ahead of time for a bike tune up with Flatbush Mutual Aid at the Flatbush Reformed Church, 1:30-4:30pm.
• Author Kathy McDonald gives a talk on revolutionary playwright Lorraine Hansberry at the Cortelyou Library, 3pm.
• Sign up ahead of time for Pickle Making with a Pro at Brooklyn ARTery, 3:30-5:30pm.
• There’s an Allagash Brewery tap takeover at Sycamore, whenever’s good for you.
Pinky Swearz and The Crevulators play Bar Chord, 9pm.
Sweet Potato is at 773 Lounge, 10pm.

Sunday, March 30

• Meditate for free at at Jaya Yoga East, 8:30am.
• Play and sing at Toddler Time with Mary Jo, Lark, 10am.
Made by Lukas brings top tier veggie burgers to this week’s Flatbush Food Court, Sycamore, 12-6pm.
• Join the Ditmas Park Sitting Group to meditate at Third Root, 6:45pm.
Mike O’Malley plays Bar Chord, 7pm.
• … followed by the Cortelyou Jazz Jam, also at Bar Chord, 9pm.
