Happy weekend! Did you know it’s supposed to hit 50 today? Enjoy the positively steamy weather between concerts, Purim fun, a cat adoption event, and more.

Saturday, March 8

• Check out fun family Purim events all weekend long.
• The Lavender Blues sing along is at Lark, 10 and 11 am.
Ready, Set, Kindergarten is at the Cortelyou Library, 11am.
• You can check out Introduction to Birdwatching, starting at the Audubon Center, 12-1pm on Saturdays until March 29.
Alex Levin and guests play jazz at Purple Yam, 12:30-2:30pm.
• Jumpstart Story Time is on for kids up to five at the Cortelyou Library, 1pm.
The Blue Laws are helping to raise money for PS 217 (and get you dancing) at 773 Lounge, 8pm.
The Todd Gaynor Band plays Bar Chord, 9pm.

Sunday, March 9

• Meditate for free at at Jaya Yoga East, 8:30am.
• Play and sing at Toddler Time with Mary Jo, Lark, 10am.
• Meet adorable cats and kittens at an adoption event in front of Qathra, 11am-4pm.
RSVP ahead of time for Bagels, Lox and Talk with guests The Little Rockers Band at the East Midwood Jewish Center, 11:30-12:45pm.
•  Barry’s Tempeh is at the Flatbush Food Court this week, Sycamore, 12-6pm.
•  Enjoy a fitness walk with the Urban Park Rangers starting at Prospect Park’s Audubon Center, 1pm.
• Join the Ditmas Park Sitting Group to meditate at Third Root, 6:45pm.
• Game on! At Board Game Night, 773 Lounge, 8pm.
The Jacks of Kings County play Bar Chord, 7pm…
• … followed by the Cortelyou Jazz Jam, also at Bar Chord, 9pm.
