Your holiday is just getting started. Don’t miss art shows by neighbors, food trucks, and live music this weekend (and Monday!) in and around Ditmas Park.
Saturday, May 25
- Learn about 19th Century life at the Lefferts 2nd Floor Tours, Lefferts Historic House, Saturdays and Sundays 1pm-3:30pm (tours every half hour).
- See neighbor Eric Pesso‘s work at the BWAC Spring Show, 499 Van Brunt St. in Red Hook, 1-6pm until June 16.
- Kids can learn about spinning yarn at History in Your Hands: Fleece Fun, also at the Lefferts Historic House, Saturdays and Sundays from 2-4pm.
- “Honey, Dear” Vintage Jazz is on at Lark, 4-5pm.
- See Hannah Cohen play at Sycamore, 9pm.
- Names You Can Trust hosts their weekly party at Sycamore, 10pm.
Sunday, May 26
- Enjoy the food trucks at Grand Army Plaza, 11am-5pm.
- The Pop-Up Audubon is open again from 12-5pm.
- Get ready to rock at a Sing Along with Luis, Lark, 4-5pm.
- Sit zazen at Third Root, 6:45-7:15pm.
- Underground Works (lineup TBA) is on at Sycamore, 8pm.
Monday, May 27
- Neighbor Nina Talbot has work on exhibition at Black Veterans for Social Justice (665 Willoughby Ave. between Throop Ave. and Marcus Garvey Blvd.), 2pm.
- The Rolie Polie Guacamole sing-along is at Lark, 4:15pm.
- Eivind Opsvik is on the bass and the JP Carletti Trio plays at the Radio Zero Series, Sycamore, 8pm.
- And the Monday Night Vinyl Club is at the bar at Sycamore, 8pm.
