Ditmas Park Weekend Events

Not sure quite yet what you’re up to this weekend? You can express yourself through song, dance, and sewing, chill out with some yoga or birdwatching, or fill your belly with drinks and cannoli just in time for Super Bowl XLVIII.

Saturday, February 1

• Get caffeinated with your canine and learn about off-leash activities at FIDO-sponsored Coffee Bark, Prospect Park, 7-9am.
• The Lavender Blues sing along is at Lark, 10 and 11 am.
Alex Levin and guests play jazz at Purple Yam, 12:30-2:30pm.
Honey, Dear plays vintage jazz at Lark, 4pm.
• Sign up ahead of time for Sewing: Basic Essentials for Life! at Brooklyn ARTery, 3-5pm.
• Karaoke is at 773 Lounge, 9pm.
Craig Dreyer and Fiends play Bar Chord, 9pm.
• The Jukebox Romeo spins at Sycamore, 10pm.

Sunday, February 2

• Meditate for free at at Jaya Yoga East, 8:30am.
• Play and sing at Toddler Time with Mary Jo, Lark, 10am.
• Take a Morning Bird Walk staring at the Prospect Park Audubon Center, 10am.
Yoon Sun Choi plays at Sunday Jazz for the Family, Lark, 4-5pm.
• Drop by 773 Lounge, Bar Chord, Hamilton’s, Ox Cart, or Sycamore to eat, drink, watch Super Bowl XLVIII and be merry (depending on how your team does), or order pizza and cannoli from Lea to pick up before kickoff at 6:30pm.
• Join the Ditmas Park Sitting Group to meditate at Third Root, 6:45pm.
• The Cortelyou Jazz Jam follows the game at Bar Chord.
