Dimbulla Tea Shop & Al Seabu Step Into Empty Spots On 5th Avenue
The corner of 5th Avenue and 6th Street didn’t stay empty too long.
Two adjacent businesses, Corner Burger and Chip Shop, both closed in December, and those spaces are already looking alive again. A sign recently went up in the window of 381 5th Avenue announcing Dimbulla Tea Shop will open there in May, taking over the space where Corner Burger used to be.
The Chip Shop space at 383 5th Avenue has also recently been filled — Al Seabu, a Malaysian restaurant, opened there last week. We had a chance to stop in recently, and will have a review up soon, so check back.
In the meantime, what do you think of these additions to the avenue?
