Did You Lose Your Wedding Ring Near Clean Rite Laundromat On 86th Street? It’s Been Found
A Bensonhurst resident found a wedding ring in the parking lot of the Clean Rite Center laundromat at 2519 86th Street recently, and has turned it over to cops until the owner steps forward.
Yolanda Crespo stopped by Clean Rite to do some laundry in March, when she noticed the ring alongside litter and debris in the center’s parking lot.
“It was a very sentimental ring, and it had writing on the inside and the outside, so you can tell whoever bought the ring for this person put a lot of thought into it,” she told News 12.
She asked around inside the laundromat, but no one came forward.
Crespo took the ring to the 62nd Precinct for safe keeping, in hopes that it will be reunited with its owner.
Anyone hoping to score a free wedding ring will be foiled. Cops at the precinct said that the would-be owner will have to describe the ring and the inscription on it.
To claim the ring, contact the precinct at (718) 236-2611.
