Good morning, Fort Greene and Clinton Hill.

We hope you enjoyed the sunny weather this weekend, whether you were out in Fort Greene Park or strolling around the neighborhood for the South Of the Navy Yard Artists Art Walk. The good weather should continue today, with mostly sunny skies and a high of 68, according to the National Weather Service.

Here’s some local news to start your week.

  • Rooftop Films kicked off its summer season on Friday, reported Gothamist. The summer film series shows movies every year on roof tops around Brooklyn, including
the roof of the Trilok Fusion Center for the Arts in Clinton Hill. You can buy tickets online for the next movie in the neighborhood, “We Are the Best,” a Swedish film about a teenage girl punk band.
  • Yoko Ono was one of four artists who received an honorary degree from Pratt Institute, which held its 125th commencement on Friday, reported The New York Daily News. New York Times architectural critic
Michael Kimmelman also received an honorary degree and delivered the commencement speech to 1,337 graduates.
