Good morning, Fort Greene and Clinton Hill.

It might be chilly out today, but we’re still making it out to the 88th Precinct Community Council meeting that was rescheduled last week due to snow. The meeting will be held in the Pratt Tower community room, located at 333 Lafayette Avenue, at 7 p.m.

Here’s more local news to get you started:

  • If you’re looking for a new local BBQ spot to eat at, Humo Steakhouse officially opens its doors tomorrow at 4 p.m., Brownstoner reported. If BBQ isn’t your thing, the recently opened Italian restaurant Emily is open for patrons and is also well worth trying, according to Brooklyn Based.
  • Planning a Super Bowl party spread this Sunday? Greene Grape Provisions has an appetizer recipe you can’t forget. The timeless classic, pigs in a blanket, is easier to make than you think and can be put together with local ingredients, according to the store’s blog. If you’re going out to celebrate the game instead, let us know where you’re planning to catch the game in the comments.
  • We caught a selection of photos recently released by the Brooklyn Public Library that was compiled by Fast Company. The shots, showing interiors of homes around the borough, have a view inside of 284 Clinton Avenue and 263 Vanderbilt Avenue. You can check out the full digital collection here.
