Greene in the Battle of the Boroughs - we're in the finals against Prospect Park to see who will represent Brooklyn at the National Tennis Center in July! Finally, if you're interested in playing against Lincoln Terrace in our annual friendly match, please reply to this email. Good morning, Fort Greene and Clinton Hill.

We hope you enjoyed the warmer temperatures this weekend, whether you went to the park or watched the World Cup games at a local bar. The sunny weather continues today with a high of 80 degrees, according to the National Weather Service.

Here’s some more local news to start your week:

  • The National Parks Department will start marking places of significance to the
Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender community and activists hope that Fort Greene Park is included, reported News 12 Brooklyn. Local LGBT community members say they feel comfortable being seen in the park with their partners.
