Crown Heights: 4 Apartments Hit the Housing Lottery List
CROWN HEIGHTS — Affordable Housing Lottery is now open for four apartments at 195 Sullivan Pl. in Crown Heights.
The four-story, roughly 15,000 sq. ft. building located between Ludlam Place and Rogers Avenue has 19 units, four of which are listed as affordable under the city’s affordable housing lottery.
The units are reserved for applicants earning 60% of the area median income (AMI). Applicants who meet the criteria can choose from three studio apartments at $904/month and a one-bedroom at $1,039/month.
Annual income requirements range from $30,994 – $43,860 for single applicants and $35,623 – $50,100 for couples/roomates.
Half of the units are set aside for residents in Community Board 9. Five percent of units are allocated to residents with mobility disabilities while 2 percent will go to those with hearing and vision impairments.
