Authorities say the thief climbed through a window at Congregation Kozover, located on East 28th Street, between Avenue R and Quentin Road, just after midnight on March 7. He stole an undetermined amount of money from several collection boxes at the synagogue, according to the NYPD.

Police released a surveillance photo of the suspect.
