Cops Seeking Man Who Threw Molotov Cocktail Into Local Store

The NYPD is looking for a man they say threw a Molotov cocktail into the SER Convenience store at 3901 Fort Hamilton Parkway (on the corner of 39th Street) early this morning.

At about 1:55am on Wednesday, April 23, police say the suspect threw the incendiary device into the store, causing the clerk’s hair and jacket to catch fire. It was revealed that approximately an hour before the incident, the suspect had entered the store and argued with the clerk, who was left with minor injuries from the fire.

The suspect is described as a Hispanic man, about 5’8″ to 5’10” tall, in his 30s or 40s. He was wearing sunglasses and a dark hooded sweatshirt with words on it.
