Cops Seek Purse Thief Who Gassed Up With Victim’s Card

Police are looking for a man they say stole a woman’s purse over the weekend, then used her debit card.

Cops say at about 3pm on Saturday, October 11, the man pictured at left entered Graziella’s (232 Vanderbilt Avenue between Dekalb and Willoughby Avenues), removed the victim’s handbag from the back of her chair, and left.

The suspect then allegedly used the woman’s debit card to buy gas at an Exxon station at Myrtle and Bushwick Avenues.

The suspect is described as a black man with glasses, last seen wearing a blue long sleeved shirt, blue jeans, and white sneakers.
