Cops Say Woman Stole Credit Cards In Fort Greene Park Bathroom To Buy Liquor (VIDEO)

Update: The suspect was arrested this afternoon. Katarina Fjardvall, 51, of Fort Greene, has been charged with grand larceny and criminal possession of stolen property.

Always keep an eye or hand on your purse, folks.

Police are asking for help in identifying the woman seen in surveillance footage (video below) at around 4:10pm on Saturday, June 14 leaving the women’s bathroom in Fort Greene Park after having allegedly stolen another woman’s purse and credit cards.

The suspect is described as a light-skinned woman who walks with the assistance of a cane.

She reportedly used the victim’s credit card to buy $40 worth of liquor at Best Buy Wine and Spirits on Fulton Street between St. Felix Street and Fort Greene Place.
