Cops Release Video Of Robber Who Beat Fulton Street Store Clerk; Seek Leads In Murder Of Man On Bergen Street

A 20-something-year-old man beat a 47-year-old male store clerk at Hair Wig Beauty Supply (530 Fulton Street) last Friday, November 6, after the clerk caught him stealing a pair of earrings, say cops, who are hoping someone recognizes the suspect in these images.

The suspect is described as standing five-feet-eight-inches tall and weighing around 180 pounds. The clerk was treated at Methodist Hospital for injuries sustained from the beating and being hit with a bottle.

In a separate incident, cops are also investigating the murder of a man found on Bergen Street, off Third Avenue, found in his car with a gunshot wound to the back.

The victim, who is estimated to be in his 30s, was discovered last night (Wednesday, November 18) at around 3:19am by passersby, who called police. There are no arrests and the investigation is ongoing
