Cops Hunt Man Who Used Yarmulke During Home Break-In On Homecrest Avenue

A man broke into a home on Homecrest Avenue near Avenue V, using a yarmulke to hide his face from security cameras during the heist.

The man cut through a screen on a side window, entered the home, and swiped a Samsung Galaxy S3 phone on Friday, April 17. He also snatched a whopping $20 in cash.

The yarmulke wasn’t the only measure he took to protect his identity. Before breaking into the home, he cut a wire to the surveillance camera in the backyard.
