Coney Island Man Fatally Shot In The Head, Police Say

Cops say a 29-year-old man died Friday night after he was shot several times in the head inside a Coney Island apartment building.

Police say they arrived at the residence, located on the fourth floor of a building near West 21st Street and Surf Avenue, at 8pm after they received a call about an assault. They discovered the body of James White lying on the floor with gunshot wounds to his head.

Police say White lives at a building two blocks away from the where he was killed.

White was declared dead at the scene. Cops are investigating the murder and no arrests have been made.
