Community Board 14 September Meetings

After a summer recess, Community Board 14 is about to start holding meetings in our area again. If you want to get a first-hand look at what’s going on in the neighborhood, make sure to attend at least one of the meetings coming up this month:

The public hearing (7:15pm) will go over community recommendations for projects that you hopefully sent in before today. The general monthly meeting (7:30pm) will include reports from a slew of committees, plus Chairman Alvin Berk, District Manager Shawn Campbell, and the Task Force on the Revitalization of the Junction Area. Maybe even one or two of the City Council candidates for District 40 will stop by to help you finalize your decision before the primary.

Budget Committee Meeting

The committee will further hammer out details and priorities for the City Council’s Fiscal Year 2015 Capital and Expense Budgets.
