Coming Soon: Greene Grape Scoops Will Open In Former Annex Space At 680 Fulton Street

Greene Grape‘s mini-empire is expanding this summer in the most natural, delicious way possible: with the opening of Greene Grape Scoops, an ice cream shop that will feature products from local purveyors plus their own homemade toppings.

“We’re coming up with the menu now and are aiming to pop up in June,” said owner Amy Bennett, who told us that locally made brands like Phin & Phebes will be featured.

The new ice cream shop will be housed at 680 Fulton Street — the old Greene Grape Annex space, and right across the street from the current Annex. “The space just wants to be an ice cream store,” explained Bennett of the choice of location.

An added bonus is that the scoop shop will also give pastry chef Jared Rubin “a chance to be a little creative,” said Bennett.

“Lots of people ask where to get fresh scoops [in the neighborhood],” added manager Meg Christman, “so everyone was on board when Amy suggested this.”

We’re certainly on board, too!
