Coming Soon: Da Ciro Brooklyn Trattoria And Pizzeria Will Replace The Runner At 458 Myrtle Avenue
There will soon no longer be an empty storefront at 458 Myrtle Avenue (between Waverly and Washington Avenue)! Da Ciro Brooklyn Trattoria E Pizzeria will soon call the space home, with a goal open for this spring/around March.
According to co-owner and namesake Ciro Verdi, and co-owner Victoria Frignani, the restaurant will be “casual, family-oriented, not a bar atmosphere, with food — the bar there for drinks with your meal.”
“We were looking for the perfect place [to expand, from Lexington Avenue in Manhattan] and Clinton Hill is nothing but positive vibes,” said Verdi of why he chose our neighborhood to move to. “We saw the space and took it right away.”
That space is the former home of The Runner, which closed suddenly this past September.
According to its liquor license application, Da Ciro will be open daily: Sundays from 10am-10pm, Monday-Thursdays from 11am-11pm, and Friday-Saturdays from 11am-12am.
Verdi and Fragnani are super friendly and we look forward to learning more about Da Ciro as its opening date approaches!
