Congratulations are in order for Chef King Phojanakong, who just won the latest round of Cutthroat Kitchen!

Phojanakong, of 433 DeKalb Avenue’s umiNOM, competed in the Food Network show’s latest installment, entitled “Tiki Torch-Ure,” which aired on Sunday, January 11 and pit the Clinton Hill chef against two other chefs in three rounds of making delicious, beautifully presented food using only a limited and changing arsenal of kitchen supplies and ingredients:

One chef has to cook fish tacos on tiki torches. Then, one chef has to make pasta salad, using water that they harvest from a patio mister. Finally, one chef has to bake an apple pie inside apples.

If you missed the show, watch it again at 10pm on Thursday, February 5 or at 2am on Friday, February 6.
