Children’s Clothing Store Lolli To Close After 10 Years On 7th Avenue
Lolli, the children’s clothing store that’s been at 169 7th Avenue, between Garfield and 1st, for about a decade, will be closing next week, citing personal and professional reasons.
Opened in 2005 by moms and childhood friends Jacquie Kelleher and Meghan Andrade, who took over the space that had previously been the children’s store Fidgets, the shop has been outfitting local tots in cool duds ever since.
They sent out an email last night announcing the shop’s last day will be Sunday, February 15.
“After 10 wonderful years of outfitting your babies, toddlers, kids and tweens, we have decided it is time for us to move on both personally and professionally,” they wrote. “Thank you for your support over the years. It has been a privilege and a delight to be a part of this community.”
They say lots will be on sale, but all sales are final and cash-only.
Thanks to Jacquie and Meghan for so many years serving the neighborhood, and best of luck in your future pursuits!
