Charred Car On Rugby Road

We spotted this car on Rugby between Beverley and Cortelyou this morning, looking like a fire had burned it from the inside out. It seems like that stretch of road is getting some serious auto action recently, what with the three window smashings at the intersection on August 5 and the recent rim theft at that corner as well.

“We live on Rugby and never heard a fire engine,” says neighbor Christine, who took the photo below. How about any other Rugby/Beverley neighbors?

UPDATE: Neighbor sssnole points out that the burning didn’t actually take place on Rugby–it happened yesterday afternoon more towards Kensington, as ouuuk’s video shows.
