The Patrol Borough Brooklyn South’s softball team will face off against members of Flatbush Hatzoloh at MCU Park on Monday, August 3, for a charity game benefiting the families of fallen officers.

The event honors Wenjian Liu and Rafael Ramos, the two officers shot and killed by a deranged gunman last December while sitting in their patrol car outside the Tompkins housing project in Bedford-Stuyvesant. Relatives of Liu and Ramos will throw out the first pitch of the game.

Proceeds will go towards the Patrolmen’s Benevolent Association’s Widow’s and Children’s Fund, which provides aid to families of police officers who have lost their lives in the line of duty.

First pitch will be at 6:15pm. However, a concert starring Orthodox Jewish performer Avraham Fried will begin at 4:30pm. Mid-game entertainment will be provided by the Chicago Boyz Acrobatic Team.

Tickets cost $15. Order online or call 718-339-6814 for sponsorships or group rates call.
