Changes On The B & Q Lines Due To Water Main Break

Update: As of 10:40am, all subway lines have resumed with residual delays.

A Manhattan water main located on 13th Street and 5th Avenue broke around midnight Wednesday morning, flooding Greenwich Village streets, and wreaking havoc on several subway lines, including the B and Q.

If you’re headed into the city, note that B trains are running local in both directions. You should also expect some delays on the Q, and allow additional travel time.

Additional changes to the  C, D, E, F, M, and N lines can be found here.

The MTA says that crews are on the scene attempting to clear water from the tracks, but you’ll definitely want to load up your e-reader and allow some additional time to get from point A to point B this morning.
