CBS Television Series ‘Elementary’ To Film In Park Slope This Week

The CBS television show Elementary will be filming part of its third season in the area on Wednesday, and cars will need to be off several streets by Tuesday evening to accommodate the shoot (which at least one neighbor is not too pleased about it, as they noted on the sign above).

The show, which stars Lucy Liu and Jonny Lee Miller and is described as a modern spin on Sherlock Holmes, will be using the following streets for filming:

  • Both sides of 5th Avenue between 3rd and 8th Streets
  • Both sides of 3rd Avenue between 3rd and 6th Streets
  • Both sides of 7th Street between 2nd and 3rd Avenues
  • Both sides of 6th Street between 2nd and 3rd Avenues

Vehicles will need to be moved from those blocks by 10pm on Tuesday, February 17. The shoot will take place on Wednesday, February 18 between about 7am-8pm. If you find your car has been relocated, contact the locations department at 718-687-0097.
