CBS Police Drama Blue Bloods Will Film On Coney Island Avenue This Wednesday – Move Your Cars By Tonight
CBS police drama Blue Bloods is back in our neighborhood this week, and the show that stars Donnie Wahlberg, Bridget Moynahan, and Tom Selleck is slated to film in our area on Wednesday.
According to signs we spotted, the filming means you won’t be able to park on both sides of Argyle Road (between Dorchester and Ditmas), both sides of Dorchester (between Rugby and Westminster), both sides of Ditmas Avenue (between Rugby and Westminster), and the east side of Coney Island Avenue (between Newkirk and Cortelyou). If your car is towed, call the location manager, Smith, at (718) 349-2054.

The show, which centers around a family of New York cops and is set to air its fifth season as of September 26, is going to be taping in 773 Lounge (which is no stranger to Hollywood) on Wednesday, according to this Facebook post from the bar:
Once again, your favorite neighborhood bar is going Hollywood. CBS’s Blue Bloods will be taping at 773 this Wednesday, 9/17. Unfortunately, that means we will close at 8:00 PM Wednesday and reopen Thursday. The Shack in the Back will also be closed. No word on whether there will be any Wahlbergs or Sellecks at the shoot.
Blue Bloods has filmed in the neighborhood a number of times in the past, including last January, as well as in the fall of last year. Photographer and neighbor Mike Wright shot these great photos of Donnie Wahlberg in the area, when Blue Bloods was filming on Argyle, just north of Cortelyou, in 2010.
