CB 14 Invites Business Owners & Other Neighbors To A Merchants Roundtable On January 28 – RSVP Now

CB 14 District Manager Shawn Campbell, center, said at January’s board meeting that the upcoming merchants roundtable will help business owners connect with helpful services and programs.

If you’re a business owner hoping to connect with other merchants in the area, Community Board 14 is inviting you to a roundtable on Wednesday, January 28 at 11am.

The merchants roundtable will be held at CB 14’s office, located at 810 E. 16th Street by Avenue H, and the event will include presentations and information from city agencies and organizations that support small business and economic development.

“The gathering will also provide an opportunity to share your perspective on current challenges and recess successes, and the time to get to know one another and share where your businesses might be able to support one another, either through partnership, referrals and/or resource sharing, or simply camaraderie,” the Church Avenue BID wrote in an email.

CB 14 District Manager Shawn Campbell said at the board’s January meeting that the gathering will include presentations from the city’s Commission of Human Rights, the Department of Consumer Affairs, Small Business Services, and more in an effort to make “businesses aware of the service and programs available to them.”

Those who plan on attending should RSVP by calling 718-859-6357.
