Looking for a new brunch spot? Look no further than the new Carnem Prime Steakhouse, which recently opened at 318 5th Avenue, between 2nd and 3rd Streets.

The steakhouse started serving brunch this past weekend and is focused on bringing prime meats to the midday meal, including a deluxe Filet Mignon Sandwich for $21, a 28-day aged Petite Tender Medallion Steak for $19, and Belgian Waffles with half a Fried Chicken for $17 — not to mention the decadent Bananas Foster French Toast ($16) and Chicken Liver Paté ($7).

And if you want to spice up your brunch, try one of mixologist Artemio Vasquez’s signature cocktails, like the Poquito Picante, a gin-based drink with jalapeño-infused Cointreau, cucumber, cilantro and lemon.
