Car Break In On Ditmas & E 19th

Neighbor Sam sent us this photo of a black Honda with its driver’s window smashed this morning on Ditmas Ave. and E 19th St. Unlike the car we spotted last week on Stratford (whose back window was tilted so that any glass shards would have likely fallen inside the vehicle), the glass on the ground next to it suggests the break in was committed in that exact spot.

Again, nothing’s a surefire solution–but try not to keep anything visible in the car–even if it’s not actually valuable, it could be mistaken as such. You can also call the 70th Precinct at 718-851-5511 if you see any suspicious activity (although only 911 accepts reports of car break ins), and don’t hesitate to let us know what you come across as well.
