Calling All Kids: Prospect Park Looking For Junior Volunteers
Help kids discover the joy of giving back to their community with the Prospect Park Junior Volunteer Corps.
Following a successful first run in 2014, the Prospect Park Alliance is once again looking for families and elementary-school-aged groups to help with a range of projects to improve our big backyard, from bagging leaves to mulching greenspace and more, in an effort to inspire kids ages 6-13 to get some service experience and gain a sense of ownership in the park.
The first scheduled meeting (at the 9th Street entrance to the park) is Sunday, March 29 at 1:30pm. Refreshments will be provided.
Families interested in participating can sign up here, while group leaders can visit this page. Spots are being scooped up quickly, so be sure to fill out those forms early.
