Café Madeline Owner’s New Venture At 1616 Cortelyou To Offer Cheese & Beer Shop, Wine, Naan Tacos & More
We have some exciting news: Café Madeline’s owner, Adell, gave us a glimpse of what his new venture at 1616 Cortelyou Road is going to be like!
The spot, which is going to be named Ditmas Park Counter, is located just across the street from Café Madeline (1603 Cortelyou Road) and is going to include: a cheese shop, a beer shop, lots of wine, and such dishes as hamburgers, naan tacos, and chicken and waffles. It will, Adell said, be an “all day long hangout” that will be open from 8am to midnight.
And, for all you literary folk, Adell also let us know that there could be a possible expansion next door after the restaurant opens “for an awesome bookstore.”
“I always wanted to bring a nice cheese shop and a bookstore to Ditmas Park,” Adell wrote to us.
We’ll keep you updated on more plans for the new spot, as well as when it will open. Until then, we’d love to hear what you’re looking forward to with this new place. What are you hoping it will be like?
