Buttermilk Bakeshop To Open On 5th Avenue On Saturday

Buttermilk Bakeshop, which opened its first location a year ago at 339 7th Avenue, near 9th Street, is currently setting up shop in its new 5th Avenue space, and is planning on opening this Saturday, February 28.

The 7th Avenue space will remain closed today and tomorrow as they set things up in the second space, located at 260 5th Avenue, between Garfield and Carroll.

The new spot will be the home base of their baking operation, and will supply the 7th Avenue spot its items, from monkey buns to cakes and more, on a daily basis. They’ll also use the 5th Avenue location (which was home to a bakery before, until Trois Pommes Patisserie closed last year) to host cooking classes.
