Bushwick Cops Seek Suspects in Streetcorner Stickup

BUSHWICK – Police are seeking two young men in a streetcorner robbery that took place right off Bushwick Ave, near The Evergreens Cemetery, earlier this week.

Just before midnight on Monday, September 4, two individuals approached a man on 685 Chauncey Street, showing him a gun and demanding he hand over his money, said police.

The 50-year old victim did just that, handing over a wallet with an unspecified amount of cash in it, said police. The suspects fled in an unknown direction, leaving the victim unharmed.

Police said the first suspect is described as a black man, about 20 years of age, 5’9” and 160 lbs, last seen wearing a gray sweatshirt, blue pants and white sneakers. The second is another black man, perhaps 18-20 years old, 5’4” and 150 lbs, wearing a black t-shirt, black shorts and white sneakers, according to police.
