Cops are searching for a burglar who wandered the halls of a residential building on Batchelder Street last week checking for unlocked doors. He made off with a laptop and two cameras from one apartment, police say.

Police say the suspect entered the building, located between Avenue Y and Avenue Z, just before 5pm on December 8. He started pulling at door knobs until he found an apartment that was unlocked, according to authorities. He entered the apartment and rummaged through different items in the home until he found a Lenovo laptop and two Nikon cameras, police say.

The NYPD provided surveillance photos of the suspect.
