Another yoga option is coming to the neighborhood, with the impending arrival of Brooklyn Yoga Club to 206 Vanderbilt Avenue (off Willoughby Avenue, right next to the back entrance to the French Speaking Baptist Church).

As first reported by DNAInfo, the business is helmed by Eddie and Jocelyn Sterne of Ashtanga Yoga New York, which has offered classes for years in Manhattan at the Broome Street Temple, will feature yoga and meditation rooms, library, communal tables with a light food/tea/juice/coffee eating area, and a 1,000 square foot outdoor deck. There will reportedly even be a steam room!

It will open “in late summer/early fall,” according to their website. Costs range from a $75 intro week to 12 classes for $200 (roughly $16.60 per class) and daily for a month for $245 (roughly $8 per class for 30 days).

The Brooklyn Yoga Club will join other neighborhood yoga spots such as Lucky Lotus Yoga (334 Myrtle Avenue), Move With Grace (469 Myrtle Avenue), Dou Yoga (214 Greene Avenue), and The Shala (83 Lafayette Avenue).
