Subway Service Changes This Weekend

Below you’ll find weekend subway service changes in Brooklyn for the A, C, G, B, Q, D, N, R, 2, 3, 4, and 5 lines, plus the Franklin Avenue shuttle and some notes on changes in other boroughs. Check back Monday to see what’s happening next week. Changes via MTA.info.

Through tonight:

No B trains between Kings Hwy and Brighton Beach
Weekdays through Friday, November 28

B service operates between Bedford Pk Blvd/145 St and Kings Hwy. Transfer between B and Q trains at Kings Hwy. There is no Q service between Brighton Beach and Stillwell Av during this time.

Through the weekend:

No 4 trains between Brooklyn Bridge and New Lots Av
Weekend, 11:45pm on Friday, November 28 to to 5am on Monday December 1

4 service operates between Woodlawn and Brooklyn Bridge, making local stops. Late night 3 service is extended to New Lots Av.

For service between Manhattan and Brooklyn, take the D or Q. For Lower Manhattan and Downtown Brooklyn, take the or 2/3 or N/R.

For service between Borough Hall and Franklin Av, take the 2 or 3. Take the 3 between Franklin Av and New Lots Av. More info here.

3 service is extended to New Lots Av
Weekend, 11:45pm on Friday, November 28 to to 5am on Monday December 1

Service operates between 148 St and New Lots Av all weekend, replacing the in Brooklyn.

No Q trains between Brighton Beach and Stillwell Av
All times until 5am on Monday, December 1

Q service operates between 57 St-7 Av/Ditmars Blvd and Brighton Beach. Free shuttle buses run between Brighton Beach and Stillwell Av, stopping at Ocean Pkwy and West 8 St. Transfer between buses and trains at Brighton Beach or Stillwell Av. For direct service between Stillwell Av and Manhattan/Downtown Brooklyn, take the D or N instead. More info here.

Q/F train service changes affect travel to and from Coney Island
Beginning 11pm on Friday, November 21 until 5am on Monday, December 1

Q service will operate between 57 St-7 Av/Ditmars Blvd and Brighton Beach. Free shuttle buses will provide alternate service between Brighton Beach and Stillwell Av, stopping at Ocean Pkwy and West 8 St.

F service will operate between 179 St and Avenue X. Free shuttle buses will provide alternate service between Avenue X and Stillwell Av, stopping at Neptune Av and West 8 St.

B service will operate between Bedford Pk Blvd/145 St and Kings Hwy, weekdays only. For direct service between Stillwell Av and Manhattan/Downtown Brooklyn,
