Brooklyn Conservatory Orchestra in Washington Park Tomorrow Night
So it’s not the New York Philharmonic, but then, that’s so last week, anyway. Tomorrow, the Brooklyn Conservatory Community Orchestra takes their turn in the free summer concert spotlight, bringing their classical stylings to Washington Park. The program is primarily old standbys — some Bernstein, some Gershwin, a little Bizet, a little Rossini, plus occasional vocals from “radiant” soprano Christine Moore and the Sendai Ikuei Gakuen High School Choir.
The concert’s at 8 at Washington Park by the Old Stone House, and — one of the many wonders of Brooklyn summers — it’s free.
