Brooklyn Commune Celebrates Anniversary, Thanks Community For Its Support
Congratulations to Brooklyn Commune on four years of being in our neighborhood!
The restaurant at 601 Greenwood Avenue just celebrated its official anniversary yesterday, and the folks there wrote:
These past four years have been filled with beautiful memories of our community, from your soulful smiles after finishing a meal to your support in our mission to bring the neighborhood together around a table of food.
If you’ve been through our doors these past 4 years, Chef Chris has probably introduced you to some new flavors and ingredients, you’ve lounged back to the smooth tunes always vibing within our walls and taken comfort in the warm ambiance and service. Today we thank you for your continued support and love, we appreciate you. Cheers to four more!
Besides being a place to, of course, eat a good meal (like the BLT that everyone loves), the restaurant also serves as the pickup site for the Kensington-Windsor Terrace CSA and often hosts community events, like the recent forum on healthy food and coops.
Since it has opened, what have you thought of Brooklyn Commune? Have you eaten lunch and/or dinner there?
