Brooklyn Bookstore Crawl Returns for Third Year on Indie Bookstore Day!

Brooklyn Bookstore Crawl will be returning for a third year on April 28th, 2018 across Brooklyn, New York. The crawl is a self-guided tour through Brooklyn’s many, eclectic, wonderful independent bookstores riddled across the sprawling borough.

On Indie Bookstore Day, Brooklynites are invited to explore the 30+ indie bookstores residing in our borough alone. Past crawls have seen several hundred participants.
Participants who visit at least three bookstores and post on social media using the hashtag #BKBOOKCRAWL will be entered into a giveaway to win prizes throughout the day.

Prizes so far range from Bed-Vyne Brew, Books Are Magic, Bookmark Shoppe, Catland, Brooklyn Candle Studio, Grady’s Cold Brew, House of Yes, Lit Hub, Electric Lit, Mast Brothers, Nunu Chocolates, S.W. Basics, Think Olio, The Muse, Toby’s Estate, Bklyner and many more.

Participants are encouraged to attend the after party at Friends and Lovers in Crown Heights from 5-7 PM.

To attend, participants must bring a receipt from any BK indie bookstore with the date 4/28/2018. Entry includes one ticket for the Grand Prize raffle sponsored by Out of Print. Drink specials will be available for book crawl participants, and a great way to connect with fellow book lovers.
